Sitting alone, under the azure skies,
I was looking in the blue mirror
reflecting my image – unchanged, unaltered,
thru’ twenty-three summers that I’ve sauntered.
Soon, the golden orb vanished in the west,
and noon, tired, retired behind the veil to rest.
A motion – and the mirror broke,
– elfin images arise, I choke.
I see a Shroud floating away –
my heart’s in pain, my Life Force giving away.
Like ripples, people fade away, leaving
images afloat in minds labyrinth, I’m dreaming.
